Loving this series Andy keep up the good work. I do agree without the chapter badge or the Māori armour tattoos it can be difficult to make them pop, but if anyone wanted to start an army of these guys you’ve created a cracking base for them to start from.

Looks awesome to me, please stop making me want to paint a different chapter lol. Kind of annoying GW doesn't make tons of transfers for all the different chapters, in Japan you can buy dozens of different gundam transfer sheets from every TV show and faction for like 5 bucks each, so they mustn't be too expensive to make. I know GW has a "it needs to make enough money to be worth it" policy so I guess it wouldn't cross that pile-of-money threshold... (I know you can buy them on Etsy etc but pre-cut is nicer...)

I think I'll definitely be sub-assembling some of the stormcast boys... I usually drill the holes on push-fit stuff, especially cloaked/robed minis, and use super glue to fill the gap as it dries hard and can be sanded down, a layer of lahmian medium before priming helps smooth it over too. Still an enormous pain in the arse, tho.

You mentioned the Terrains-Neutral-Texture for the base. Did you refer to "AK-8023-Terrains-Neutral-Texture" or "AK-8025-Neutral-Texture-For-Rough-Terrains" ? It's basically the only pot you're not showing :D

Ahhhh this makes me so happy! I remember asking for them a while ago and hopefully now I can finally finish painting the hundred or so marines I have hanging around, since I haven't found a good enough scheme til yours!

I really liked the simplicity of this video amd showing that a great job can be done out of the bottle at relative speed. Theres a real approachable feel to this that gives confidence. I would say the oxide on the shackles was possibly not the right choice perhaps a very thin brown wash mightve been better as it doesnt read quite right. I wasnt sure how the fur would turn out midway but it looks really good.

Love the Carcharodons. It’s how I’ve painted up my space Marines. I ordered transfers years ago from Fallout Hobbies that look great and work a treat. No idea if they still have them or not.

This is a fun chapter. Tons of conversion opportunities to really make them unique. I've seen them done with Polynesian style tribal markings and weapons inspired by pacific islander warrior culture. Robbie MacNiven has written a couple of good books about them too.

Im glad you are a man of culture. Papa nurgle is the best chaos god. Aside from that deathguard has the best looking models for any chaos space marine faction hands down
